Three years ago, I was asked to write a memoir for Dr. Gladys West, a “hidden figure” who had played an integral role in the development of the Global Positioning System (GPS). I accepted the offer, but as a first-time author, it was important to find an editor who was talented, experienced, and patient with me. Erica was all that and more. She not only edited the manuscript, but helped me with formatting, content advice, and put her heart into the project. That book, It Began With A Dream, was a success, and based on that book, I was asked to write another memoir which was released a few months ago. Once again, I called on Erica to edit that manuscript, the life story of Roy Clay, Sr, Unstoppable, which has been named the Steph Curry Book Club’s December 2022 Book of the Month. I could not have achieved this success for my clients without the outstanding editing skills and input from Erica Young. In a few months I will begin my next writing project and Erica is my only choice as editor of that manuscript and any other writing projects in the future.

"Working with Erica was a joy, a breeze, and a blessing! She gave me helpful tips and comments on what would make my book a better read, but still left the final decisions up to me. Everything was done within a good amount of time and she was very responsive whenever I had a question or concern. By the end of it all, she even became a good friend!"
